President Joe Biden's reelection campaign brought in $10 million in the 24 hours after his State of the Union speech on Thursday. The record- single-day haul, first reported by NBC News, comes as the Biden-Harris campaign looks to ramp up funds going into the general election season after Super Tuesday. Following Trump and Biden sweeps last week when 16 states went to the polls to vote in the primary election, it's almost locked up that 2024 will be a rematch between the current and former presidents. Just two days after Super Tuesday, Biden, 81, made the short trip to Capitol Hill for his last State of the Union address of his first term in office before a joint session of Congress. President Joe Biden's campaign brought in $10 million in the 24 hours after his State of the Union address on Thursday The day following his remarks, 113,000 contributors pumped funds to Biden's campaign as part of 116,000 donations in a 24-hour period, according to a senior advisor. This is a record for Biden's reelection, the campaign said. To put the huge haul in perspective, Biden's campaign, affiliated committees and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) brought in $42million in the entire month of January to help fuel the president's reelection. At the end of January, Biden's campaign had $56 million in the bank. The early cash edge for the incumbent president is now being put to use. Biden's campaign launched on Saturday the first ad of a $30 million, six-week buy across swing states. While Biden acknowledges his age in the ad, he leans into his message that his experience is what makes him a good president. This is similar to the message he spewed at his State of the Union, claiming his advanced age gives him the ability to 'get things done.' Biden followed up his speech with a weekend campaign swing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania an

'Stop driving your vehicle immediately and contact an authorised Mercedes-Benz service centre to arrange for an inspection as soon as possible,' the government website said on Thursday.  A reduction in braking performance with Mercedes-Benz vehicles could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users Mercedes-Benz GL models from 2013 (pictured) are among two others that were recalled on Thursday 'A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.' The defects concern the sealing connected to the brake booster, which may reduce significantly from corrosion, with fears hard braking could do serious damage in some cases.   The faults could lead to leakage of the brake booster bringing on a 'reduction in braking performance'. Mercedes-Benz authorised service centres will inspect vehicles to see if there is corrosion, and will test the brake booster.  RELATED ARTICLES Previous 1 Next Toddler's car booster seat recalled for lacking appropriate...
